How The Website Works

The website is split into 3 different catalogues, which are Econo-care, for care home supplies, Econo-med, for medical supplies and Econo-beauty, for beauty supplies. You can switch between these 3 catalogues simple by clicking on the catalogue logo at the top of the website. You may add items from different catalogues to your basket. Some products are in more than one catalogue. There is a small icon next to every product that's in more than one catalogue, which indicates which catalogue you will be taken to if you click on the product. These are the icons you will see:

Navigating The Website

Along the top, to the right of the logo, there are some buttons. The first is 'my account', which is where you can manage your account details. You must first register to access this section. The second button is 'about us' where you can find out about our company. The third button is 'contact us' where you can fill out an enquiry form if you wish to contact us for any reason. If you need any help using the website at any time, click the 'help' button.

There are two more buttons along the top, which will list the best selling products on the website or the categories of the catalogue that you are currently in, when you move your mouse over them. Each catalogue has different categories which are also listed on the left of the site. Some categories have sub categories which will be listed once you have clicked on the main category. Once you have clicked a category, you will see a list of all the products within that category.

Finding A Product

Categories & Search
There are several different ways you can find the product you're looking for. You can navigate through the categories as described above or you can search for the product you want by using the search box located underneath the buttons at the top. If you know the product code, you can enter it in this search box to find it quickly. You can also search for a product using the quick order tool. See quick order demonstration for help with this.

Recently Viewed, Best Sellers & Featured Products
On the home page of each catalogue and on your account page, you will see a section titled 'recently viewed' which contains the most recent products that you have viewed. Also on the home page is a 'best sellers' section that contains the highest selling products within that catalogue. You can also view these best sellers at anytime by moving your mouse over the best sellers button at the top of the site. Underneath the latest news section, is a list of featured products from the catalogue that you are currently in. If you move your mouse over any of these products, you will see a thumbnail picture of it. Click on 'View all featured products' at the bottom to view all of the featured products from all catalogues.

Managing Your Account

Viewing / Editing Your Account Details
Before you can access your account, you must first register. See 'Signing Up To The Website'. Once registered, you will be able to view your account details by clicking 'my account' at the top. Also, all the orders that you have placed will be listed on this page. You may edit your details by clicking 'Edit Your Profile Details' and filling out your new information.

Bookmarks, Reviews & Orders
If you click on 'Bookmarks' on the left, you can see all the products that you have bookmarked. To view all your reviews that you have written, click 'Reviews' and to view all your orders that you have placed, click 'Orders History'.

Signing Up To The Website

Creating An Account
To create an account on this website:

1. Click on the 'user login' button at the top or the 'my account' button. You should now see the login screen
2. Click on the 'Click here to register' button
3. Fill out your details
4. Click 'Register / Sign Up'. You should now have an account and will be able to login

Mailing List
To subscribe to our mailing list, all you need to do is enter the email address into the mailing list section at the bottom of any page and click 'Sign me up for Updates'.

News & Reviews

News
You can find the latest news entries for each catalogue on the left, underneath the categories. Simply click on a headline to view the full story. To view older news entries, click 'View all news entries' underneath the latest headlines.

Reviews
In order to review a product you must be logged in. If you don't already have an account, you must register. See 'Signing Up To The Website'. Once you are logged in, you will be able to add a review for any product. To add a review:

1. Find the product you want to review and click the 'Add Review' button at the bottom
2. Type your review in the fields provided
3. Give the product a rating
4. Click the 'Submit Review' button to add the review to that product

Once a review has been added, every user will be able to see this review.
